The Dinosaur - Brachiosaurus
What a long neck you have! All the better to eat lots of tall plants reckoned the Brachiosaurus.
With its amazingly long neck the Brachiosaurus, which was a very hungry sort of dinosaur always looking for its next meal, could reach out and munch on lots of different plants without moving far. In fact, its neck could reach as high as a five-story building!
Experts believe the Brachiosaurus would have spent most of its time looking for food and eating and could even have reared up on its back legs to reach high leaves if it was getting super-hungry.
It had big nostrils at the top of its head which meant it could sniff out potential food and other animals before it could see them.
The Brachiosaurus is the largest dinosaur for which a complete skeleton has been found. It was 25 metres long, 12 metres high and weighed 50 tonnes.!
